Satché is about to die. He accepts his imminent death even though he is strong and healthy. He decides to make his last day on this world the day of his life. Walking through the streets of his hometown in Senegal, he reflects upon love, life, and the experiences that shaped him, including his time as an immigrant in America. Directed by Alain Gomis (Sénégal/France, 2012). Please note: the film will be screened in French, without subtitles.

These films are part of the annual SGS Summer Film Festival running most Wednesdays from June 28 to September 13.
