Join us for a talk with Arivu, a fierce rapper and passionate songwriter who cracked the glass ceiling for Tamil Independent Music with his single "Enjoy Enjaami" which garnered over 425 million views on YouTube.

ABOUT ARIVU

Through his rebellious singles such as "Anti-Indian", "Kalla Mouni", and "Sanda Seivom", Arivu came to be known as a prodigial talent with the guts to speak truth to power.

Arivu is also part of Casteless Collective, a band founded by Director Pa. Ranjith for carrying the message of human dignity and peaceful co-existence. Currently, Arivu leads the AmbassA band, an experiment in fusion by bringing together the elements of hip-hop, rock, folk/indigenous music, Gaana (native to North Chennai), and Oppari (sung at funerals).

Arivu is also a much sought after songwriter and rapper in Tamil Cinema Industry. He has penned lyrics and lent his voice to many of the leading stars like Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith Kumar, Surya, Dhanush, Karthik, Silamarasan and Vijay Sethupathi.
