Each of Bahareh's 40 varied poems, which touch on everything from self-discovery to ethics in today's society, is paired with a stunning work of art which has been sourced from 40 artists from around the globe. In this book you can find themes of peace and war, love and heartache, birth and death, childhood and old age; all described with a refreshing, wise, and healing perspective. In this book you can find some answers but, more importantly, it raises critical questions which we must pose to ourselves on life’s journey. 

Dr. Bahareh Amidi is a poetry therapist who believes words and voice can be instrumental in the healing process for people of all ages and backgrounds worldwide. She has spent many years in the Middle East working with youth, victims of human trafficking, women in safe houses, and men in labor camps. She also has worked in the Silicon Valley with groups of high tech professionals and business executives working for international companies.
